Cookie Policy
Last updated: 27 October 2026
Cookies and similar browser storage are small pieces of data a website keeps in your browser. RapiTalk uses as few as possible. We do not use advertising, cross-site tracking or analytics tools. Optional cookies stay off until you allow them, and you can change your choice at any time: .
Essential (always on)
Needed for the service to work and be secure. They cannot be switched off; the law does not require consent for them.
| Name | Where | Purpose | Kept for |
|---|---|---|---|
| __Secure-rapitalk_rt | app.rapitalk.com and your agency's address | Keeps you signed in (HttpOnly, Secure) | Until you sign out, at most 30 days (or your organization's limit) |
| Short-lived sign-in cookies (rapitalk_oauth, rapitalk_link, rapitalk_mfa, rapitalk_sso) | app.rapitalk.com | Protect Google, Facebook, single sign-on and two-step sign-in against forgery | 10 minutes or less |
| rapitalk_admin | Admin console only | RapiTalk staff sign-in | Until sign-out |
| rt_consent | rapitalk.com and app.rapitalk.com | Remembers your cookie choice | 6 months |
| Cloudflare Turnstile | Sign-up, contact and privacy request forms | Tells people and bots apart (security check by Cloudflare) | The session |
| Local storage: appearance (theme, mode), selected workspace, dismissed banners, WhatsApp account choice | app.rapitalk.com | Remembers settings you chose in this browser | Until you clear them |
Referral links (optional)
| Name | Purpose | Kept for |
|---|---|---|
| rt_ref | Remembers a partner's referral link so the partner gets credit and you get the offer | 30 days (or the partner programme's period) |
| rt_inv | Remembers a friend's invite link so your friend gets bonus messages | 30 days |
If you do not allow these, nothing is lost: the code is passed in the sign-up link instead, or you can type it.
Analytics and marketing (optional)
RapiTalk uses none today. These switches exist so that any such tool we add in the future can only run after you allow it, and we will update this page first.
Cookies of others
When you connect Instagram, Facebook, Google, Microsoft or pay through Cashfree, you are sent to their pages, which use their own cookies under their policies. On the payment page Cashfree may use cookies to prevent fraud.
Your choices
- Use Cookie settings (in every footer) to allow or withdraw optional cookies. Withdrawing deletes the referral cookies at once.
- You can also block or delete cookies in your browser; if you block essential cookies you cannot sign in.
- Every choice is recorded (a random id, your choices, the policy version and the time, no IP address) so we can show what you chose. See the Privacy Policy.
